All for ONE Mindfulness

This 2-part series is an open-ended learning adventure into discovering and revitalizing your own personal well-being through Mindfulness, as well as, a look into how to introduce Mindfulness to the children in your care. It is our hope to provide positive support, strategies, and resources for finding calm when life seems so out of sorts. As Sharon Salzberg says, “Mindfulness isn’t difficult. We just need to remember to do it”.

Our Mindfulness Mentor, Tabatha Anderson has been in the field for over 11 years. She has received her RECE from Lambton College, and an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Leadership from Fanshawe College. Her passion for incorporating mindfulness into early childhood education and care led her to obtain her certification in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction in her own personal time. Tabatha provides guided meditation practices for TVDSB staff, and professional development facilitations on Mindfulness for Educators, as well as Mindfulness practices for working with children at the London Children’s Connection.

PART ONE – Mindfulness for Educators is a 3-week series starting the week of July 12th focusing on the Educator.

PART TWO – Mindfulness for Children is a 3-week series beginning August 2nd focusing on how Educators can introduce mindfulness to the children they support.
